9TH ANNUAL TOP CHEF & TASTE OF TELLURIDE
Top Chef and Taste of Telluride is the organization’s signature fundraiser held every August at the Peaks Resort. 2018 marks the 9th Annual Top Chef and Taste of Telluride which takes guests on a culinary tour of Telluride. Presented by Alpine Bank, The Top Chef and Taste of Telluride will be held on August 10 at the Peaks Resort from 5:30-9 PM.
“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and a great way to enjoy creative cuisine and libations while supporting One to One Mentoring,” said Tara Kelley, Executive Director of One to One Mentoring. “The event helps One to One Mentoring raise much needed funds to continue matching youth in our area with a trusted, responsible adult mentor.”
The Taste of Telluride takes guests on a culinary tour of the area paired with wine, beer and cocktails. Throughout the evening guests will sample scrumptious delights from a variety of restaurants in the Telluride area.
The Top Chef Competition is the highlight of the evening as local chefs compete in a heated culinary show-down. This year’s competition includes Eliza Gavin of 221 South Oak, Mark Brower of Altezza at The Peaks.The winner of the first round will then square off against last year’s reigning champion, Ross Martin of Allred’s Restaurant.
New this year is the Bartenders Competition where three bartenders will compete for the tastiest and most creative specialty cocktail after receiving a secret basket of ingredients.
